Here is a farm story produced by a farmer. I know farmers are more adept to producing milk, hay, eggs, etc., but I did my share of that, so I'm into history now.

The 1885 History of Cheshire written by Ellen Raynor and Emma Petitclerc has an appendix that named about 58 farms with their owners, and often their crops, at the time the book was published. The object here is to provide an update on those farms and others.
