Alice Begley is a registered historian with the Association of Public Historians of New York State and is currently the Town of Guilderland Historian and the Village of Altamont Historian. She has been writing about history in magazines, newspapers and books, and making the past come alive for readers for more than 30 years. She is currently working on a historical biography of Congressman John L. Schoolcraft.
