ABOUT THE AUTHOR: I decided to write this book to share a very similar experience I had with a cat. There are a lot of things that actually happened and some that are fabricated. The cat I write about did show up one day at my house. She was very skinny and sadly she was feral. She would never let me get close to her, even though I fed her every day. She would actually growl at me when I walked to the food dish. I was determined to gain her trust. It took me 9 months, but I eventually did it. It just goes to prove that with love and a caring heart, anything is possible. My hope is that people will sprinkle kindness and compassion everywhere they go. We can make the world a better place, one person at a time.
