Following a warning signal along a lake from “the geese/squawking down/from Canada”, reflecting on the color blue, bridging the past with a cousin, and sauntering down Portobello Road. These eclectic poems, collages and block prints are among those that were collected but allowed to float like forgotten children. At some point, expression needs a tangible place where something might take root and move from the page. Thus, it was time to cull these words and images in the form of this book and create new space to move on.

Sandra’s prose work appears in The Chattahoochee Review, Snake Nation Review, Serving House Journal, and Our Stories. She has degrees in English and Creative Writing from Simmons College and Lesley University. She has taught creative writing and was a Hambidge fellow in 2008. This is her first book of poetry.
