From a life of growing up on the Phipps Estate in Middleburg, Virginia, where celebrities proliferate, serving in two branches of the military, owning and operating a business, to dabbling in thoroughbred horse ownership, “Mr. Burns” reveals the memories of Burns H. Robertson. Told with his humorous, yet grateful view of life, “Mr. Burns” paints a portrait of an enterprising gentleman, who has been devoted to his family, as well as to enjoying every moment of the time we have been given.
Born in the Province of Quebec, Canada, Burns Robertson’s family relocated to a vast estate in the horse country of Middleburg, Virginia when he was a young child. While his family roots are firmly planted on the Gaspe Peninsula, he became a United States citizen, served his country in battle, and became a valued member of his community in the towns of Middleburg and Upperville, Virginia. Currently living in the Myrtle Beach area in South Carolina, he continues to bring a spark of life to those who know him. Actively involved in golf, bowling, boating, socializing, and helping others, at age eightyfive he is an inspiration to many.
