A warm summer evening tempts Eva out to the front porch of her family’s little red house by Loon Lake. Neighbor children invite - and challenge - her to “go swimming on the moon.” Impossible - she thinks. Dusk turns to dark. Eva watches and wonders as woodland animals move through the yard.
