Jim Flanigan takes his readers in search of toilet paper during the pandemic, to a fire tower in Idaho, to the wilds of Alaska and the many shades of green in Ireland. Drawing on his experience in government, he explains how a huge landfill was placed next to a school, how a 12 year political battle resulted in millions of dollars for his Town, how a serious case of water contamination was resolved and how a man who grew-up in Wynantskill played a key role in the Iranian Hostage Crisis. Using humor and extensive recall of details, Jim provides readers with these and other entertaining memoirs from his past.
