This is my Mother’s story of the passing of her dear father. It too, is a memorial to that kind, quiet man. It is more then her story. It is her father’s and indeed all of our stories. Details and conditions may differ but we all face the moment of the passing of our father and mother. That tearing of souls. It is during the approaching storm of this hurricane, then that moment, and then the storm on the other side that shows who we are.
