Molly and Jack Thompson’s much-needed Caribbean vacation is cut short when they are engulfed by a CAT 5 hurricane. Travel with them as their trip moves from the tranquility of releasing baby sea turtles to being held captive by the life-threatening storm as they fight to return home to their five children. This book is sure to give the reader perspective on what it means to come home.

Sandy Zelka has been writing since she could hold a pen. Growing up in the foothills of the Adirondacks in the freedom of nature gave her the time and space to write numerous short stories. However, it wasn’t until she experienced a Category 5 hurricane, that she had the impulse to write again; the product of which is this book. Ironically, Sandy is a licensed CPA in NY state and has been a practicing accountant for the past 20 years. She has now entered academia as a full-time visiting professor at Siena College. She describes herself as an accountant with a big personality. Although her next writing assignment will be her PhD dissertation, she warns readers this is not the last time she will strike pen to paper in the fictional arena.
