One Man’s Extraordinary Experiences in Collecting, Restoring, and Preserving Classic Cars of the 20th Century

A classic car is defined by insurance companies and car enthusiasts as any automobile that has survived more than twenty years from its production year. This book takes the reader on the author’s life-long obsession with the vehicles that Henry Ford first perfected at the dawn of the 20th Century.
Take a nostalgic trip that begins with a 1911 Warren Detroit Touring Car and a 1913 Ford “Brass Era” Model T. The obsession continues to this day with the purchase of a 2021 generation C8 midengine Corvette that will certainly be officially recognized as a “classic” in the year 2041.
Packed with interesting stories of the purchase, restoration, and sometime sale of the author’s classic car collection, the reader will have a window view into the experience of why and how the automobile has impacted our lives. Professional photographs, production statistics, design innovations, automobile trivia, and more will give each reader the joy and happiness of a trip down memory lane.
This book never really ends. It takes the reader on a ride of discovery and knowledge that will prompt them to reflect on how their life has been impacted by the vehicle that “replaced the horse” and transported and transformed people, society, and the world.
The author’s only and favorite daughter said it best: “Dad, this book is a classic about classic cars, and you are a classic father as well!”

He has owned more than 100 cars in his brief collection obsession. He proudly displays his best 70 cars in a recently constructed building in West Bloomfield, New York.
