In the Kingdom of Cesstria where magic is reserved for the elites a common soldier like Den never had a chance as a Mage Apprentice. However as the new Assistant in the Mage Guild Library the secrets of the arcane are literally at his fingertips. Wonderful story spinning by a new author! I can hardly wait for Denithor the Librarian's 2nd book, this first one being so satisfying. Thoroughly enjoyable.
