In Clive Cussler-like fashion, Gordon draws on history to craft a narrative which includes romance, intrigue, politics, and philosophy.
—Maury Thompson, regional history writer
Dan Gordon has written a fun sequel to his first book Lady of Lake George. His newest book brings us back to the beautiful and historic lakewhere it’s early summer, the camps are opening up and Alicia LaVelle, David Greenwood and Cort Whitten are back to discover more history and have some adventures. Gordon is an excellent writer of witty dialogue and I love how he blends in the history of Henry Knox, and our founding fathers who visited the lake during the Revolutionary War. The book is touching, funny, and like his first book I always learn a bit of history.
